We may take a little time to get there, but sooner or later we'll figure out a way to take care of those pesky little problems. At least once, both he and I were hammering on your boat with launchers.... it's all about the teamwork.

I will, and I do mean I will do what ever it takes to get rid of pesky vehicles/boats/aircraft. My favorite way is to drop all of my mines right behind them and then throw a grenade on the pile. Twisted Evil

Re: Last night was...

Post by Shane on Tue Nov 05, 2013 10:40 am

Last night was kind of hit and miss. Sketchy servers, getting shot around corners, trouble joining friends, all the usual stuff but.... in the end I decided to play one last game of Obliteration and what an epic battle it was. We won in the end but when I joined we had lost 1 station and just picked up the second bomb. It went back and forth, as a running gunfight through Locks (an underground prison complex) for an hour but it felt more like 15 minutes, it wasn't until I looked at the clock that I realized how time had flown. I ended up with almost 35,000 points and 21 ribbons/ awards in the end.

Now having said this, it seems that with BF4 there's a lot more action in all game modes than there were in previous versions. I can't remember any of the time sucking runs to get to the action, just to die and start over like I remember from BFBC2 or BF3. Now if we could get a party together life would be complete.

For me, I really like Obliteration, it has the feel of a football game, both teams taking turns at offense and defense, and the first team to score three times wins. And it can be short or it can be long in game playing time. Rush is a second now, conquest third, and everything else.........well.

Because I really don't feel like working I've been looking at some stats and discovered that I'm in the top 3% in the world in Assault score, lmg kills, and squad score. Considering all the people at the top have played countless hours, I'm feeling pretty good about those rankings.

I also notice that Mr. Rocker is also in the top 3% for squad score and melee weapons. Be proud sir.

Yes it it Gravy. If you look on the leaderboards up at the top there's a little ? thing that explains it.... sort of.

Now as I was just plain worn out I only got into one game of Obliteration and froze up on that one but Rocker and I were kicking butt before we got kicked. Luckily my achievements up to that point were saved. I checked the report this morning I went 76-41 with 66 of those being lmg kills and I'm pretty sure the rest were random claymore kills. I like to use the "Jess" method there, just put them out in random odd locations and wait for some fool to run into them. Smile

OK. Thats cool. So I'm top 1% in SMP, Score, Support, Squad, Recon, Engineer, Vehicles Destroyed, Commander, Handguns, MBT, IFV, AA, and Boats.

Top 3% in W/L & K/D.

About those claymores, do they stay active after a death?

After the fiasco on Ghosts, I switched over to this where I could actually join friends and they could join me. We managed to rack up a nice string of wins but I had to call it a night after the second freeze.

Last night was pretty good except for my freezing issues with Obliteration. I don't seem to have any trouble with any other mode than that one.... and always when we're doing really well. And I've stated it elsewhere but Flood Zone is the absolute worst map every made for any game ever. It's to the point that I'll take the quit rather than have to play a game on that mess. Besides that it really wasn't a bad night.

Agree with Flood Zone. The night started off good but it got the last 3-4 games were laggy and disconnection over time.

Flood zone is not that bad in conquest but it is awful on rush.
They need to do something about the roof camping though.

40x scope with 14x zoom takes care of the rooftop campers.

Not much of a night for me. Early day today and after the usual Obliteration lock up I just called it a night.

Last night not so good on PS4. Server issues still being worked on. I could play in a game on my own but opening Battlelog to invite or join friends locked the game up, and I'd have to quit out and restart. After 4 attempts I just plain gave up trying. Mics don't seem to work in the game either, it's a good thing they give a party chat that seems to work.

It was enough that I told Gravy I'd be back on PS3 very soon. At least I can get into games with my friends and talk to them when I do.

So the return to PS3 didn't work out so well. First off just when I got used to the new button set-up on PS4, I switch back and it isn't an option so I spent the first 2 games yelling at myself because I kept hitting the wrong buttons. Then I try obliteration, because it really is the most fun. # games and everyone of them locked up on me. I finally got into a game that I could make it all the way through. I managed to make it through that and called it a night before anything else went wrong. Wink

Yeah I had some serious problems yesterday too, every 20mins the game would just kick me to the menu for no reason not even latency or connection was to blame.

Yesterday was the worst for freezing since launch. They must have been doing some updates or something since its affected so many people.

Today has been great though. Think I've played about 5 games so far and no issues.

It played okay last night except for the lack of quality players. I really don't think any team needs 8 snipers on it. Especially in a conquest game. I was pretty happy with my game, except for all those losses I had to suffer through.
