Which console?
So with it being confirmed that there wont be any cross over play between consoles for BF4 which consoles are people planning on going with ffor BF4?
Personally i am planning on getting a PS4 as soon as it comes out and will deffo be getting BF4 on it as well.
However if everyone is going down the PS3 root then it may be quite lonely on the battlefield so may have to end up getting the PS3 version as well LOL.

Re: Which console?
I think I've pretty much gone with the idea that BF4 will be on PS4 and Ghosts will prolly be the last game I get on PS3. (plan subject to change without notice.)
Re: Which console?
Transition to PS4 on BF4, and all other games. The only games that I plan on PS3 are the Last of Us, GT6, and Payday2.

Re: Which console?
It only took me about 12 hours to install the BF4 digital game but it finally happened. I have just about enough energy left to play one game, so that's what I did. All I have to say is it was worth the wait. Everything is so much crisper and smoother, more people in the games (Conquest is 32/side, Rush is 16/side) and more game modes than the PS3. I'm going with... worth the wait.

How does it play with all the extra people? Did you notice if they expanded the out of bounds and made a larger portion of the map playable?

Re: Which console?
My one game seemed to play fine with other people. I didn't notice and difference in map size as I was on the railroad map which is pretty big anyway, playing rush which is 32 people all together. I'm hoping to get some time later today to try some of the other modes but I wanted to work my way through the campaign to get used to the new button layout first.

Re: Which console?
The only change really is that the l2/r2 are now aim and shoot. L1 is grenade and r1 is spot. It takes a little getting used to if you're used to the COD set up like I am but with those buttons being more triggers than buttons you adjust pretty quick. That doesn't mean I don't let off the occasional accidental grenade from time to time though.
Re: Which console?
Does this mean Randoms may actually use the spot button now even if it is by mistake LOL

It may help spotting. I do believe that the ps4 version is by far the way to go.

I guess time will be spent setting the controls to correct specs then!
