Far Cry 4
I played the first chapter which means I've now unlocked co-op play for pretty much everything but the story missions with anyone who has the game. So far I haven't encountered any issues other than I kept switching weapons and throwables in the middle of the fire fight. I did discover than you can switch off the touch pad, which is what was happening, just touching it quick changes your weapon wheel. If your like me, you'll want to switch that off in the controls section.
There's nothing earth shattering over 3. Bad guy dominates the region, he doesn't like you, you and the rebels are trying to drive him out. I'm okay with that, at least there's a reason for all the running around. Driving mechanics are easy, left stick does it all, but now as long as you have a hand gun you can shoot while driving. They also added an auto drive feature so you can aim while shooting and driving. Crafting is the same, collect stuff, make stuff but they've cleaned up the menu making it easier to do and showing just what you need for the next item.
So what happens in the first chapter. You meet your allies, save 2 villages, take out the evil radio station, use zip lines and grappling hooks to get around (nice bonus once you figure out how to do it) drive all over, ride elephants, shoot a honey badger, and kill a whole lot of bad guys. I can't really ask for much more, nice fluid motion, awesome scenery, and no issues yet.
I'm going with 8/10 just because it really doesn't have anything that exciting or new but very enjoyable. Also remember, if you want to try it out, I have at least 8 more tickets I can use to invite you to play co-op for 2 hours without owning the game.

Re: Far Cry 4
It seems I misunderstood just how the free co-op works. I send you the key and you have to download a trial of the game that comes from that. Then we should be able to play. I just need to figure out how to actually do it. I still have 8 keys to hand out.
Re: Far Cry 4
And you get the invite, do the download, but can't join each other. Randoms can join you if you set it up that way but sending out invites doesn't work. FFS just once I'd like to see a game that works like advertised.

Re: Far Cry 4
Well they say they released a patch in the last few hours that might make this work. Fingers crossed.
Re: Far Cry 4
I got lucky last night and actually joined up with a random, with a mic, who was trying to do the same thing I was and get those 2 co-op trophies. We both managed to do it in under 1/2 hour and so he could get his, he added me as a friend and he could join my game, so that might just be fixed now. That makes for a pretty easy platinum. You get most of them just playing through the game, any difficulty, and not having to collect every little thing that's out there.
