The Order 1886 Empty The Order 1886

I'm a couple of hours into it now so I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm getting into. The story is simple enough, Knights of the round table have survived through time and are now trying to stop an outbreak of Lycans who seem to be taking over London by using weapons designed by Tesla. I can see why there's such a mix of reviews now. If you are looking for a game full of action without a whole lot of story (like COD) don't bother, this game isn't for you. If you like a strong story with stunning detail, and don't care too much about the action, then this is tailor made for you. There is enough action to keep things going and there probably could have been a little more free roaming in the game but it really isn't that bad. I also think they might have made better use of the new controllers but that's just me. The QTE aren't always that clear but they are doable. The only downside I've run into so far is that the explanation of how to use special weapons pops up in a little window in the corner of the screen, most often when you're getting shot so I sometimes feel I'm not using them properly. As for the cinematic borders, tbh if somebody hadn't mentioned I most likely wouldn't even notice it. See below... for you LBP players you might know what that is.

Thought about it, heard the story wasn't very long. TBH, I've been waiting on used copies of games to come out.

They are right, it only took me 6-7 hours to play through. It's more of an interactive story than anything. I really feel they could have done a lot more with it by making it more free roam but it was still entertaining for a couple of days. There are very few collectibles, missions are very linear, but on the other side it's a good story with stunning visuals. Now I get to do a run through with the super weapons from my pre-order bonus.

Thanks to Shane, I'm able to give this game a time, story is good, graphics are good, the cues at time had to nail down, but a fun and simple game.
