Grumpy old gamers

Post by Jessica on Sat Jan 16, 2010 4:29 am

Along the lines of 'grumpy old men' this is for any moans, about absolutely anything that winds you up!

Why is it that when we're short on time children drag their feet. When there's time to spare they're ready and asking 'are we going soon' all the time

If I were to list everything that annoyed me i'd be here for several days...

Let's start with the disdain with which I am treated for simply being a teenager.

This may be a US thing, but I tend to get a little grumpy when I'm checking out at the grocery store and the person in line in front of me decides to use their coupons and pay with a check... after everything has been rung up.

Pet-peeves, to many to list, #1 is people talking on their cell phone will driving, sorry but I was in a head-on accident with a kid that was on his phone and it took a while for me to heal up because the airbags didn't deploy Neutral

Smurf: I fit into at least two of those categories. I'm off to go and cry in a corner.

Shane: Be glad it's not blister packed...

Which brings me to, has anyone ever cut themselves trying to get something out of one of those boxes. I did it on the plastic packaging from my new PS3 controller over the holidays. Sad

I often get paper cuts at work, especially when I'm bulk filing or opening the post, they hurt like hell, and seem to catch on everything too.

The hardest packaging to open nowadays has to be a close competition between heat sealed cheese and any childs toy!

The present we gave Rosie's friend Ben for his birthday this year was a remote controlled dinosaur, we had to go to the garage and get wire cutters and pliers to remove it from the box, that was after we used scissors and considerable brute force too
