26th, 27th and 28th April. If you take those 3 days off work you're off for 11 days.

Re: Grumpy old gamers
This morning as I was getting my coffee, I was reminded of this one. A young man walked into the store with a baseball cap on backwards. Personally I rarely wear a hat but when I do, I wear it in the way it was intended to be worn. Who thought it would be cool and look good to wear a hat backwards, or worse yet off to the side? Next thing you know they'll be wearing their pants and shirts backwards. Another trend I'll be avoiding...
Re: Grumpy old gamers
ive looked everywhere and i cant find a shop that sells backwards facing caps. all the ones i see have them facing the front.

Re: Grumpy old gamers
I can handle backward facing caps, usually raised eyebrowns and a snigger is all that's needed to get the wearer to move it.
What really winds me up is trousers dragging 4 inches on the floor that are hardly clinging on to blokes hips. You know the ones, they're usually accompanied by the bloke wearing the most awful tatty faded unpleasant looking underpants going, and a top that doesn't cover anything up below the waist.
Not to mention the strange 'i've shit my pants' walking style needed to keep the aforementioned trousers from dropping to the floor at a seconds notice.

Those are all of the clean ones, all of the rest of them wouldn't pass the screening process.

Re: Grumpy old gamers
I woke up this morning, look out the window and there's a pretty coating of frost on the ground. This tells me that I need to leave a few minutes early to scrape the windows on the car or heat it up so it's clear. Seems pretty easy to me. So why was I dodging cars coming at me with a little tiny opening cleared where they thought eye level was? Did they miss the white look to everything when they walked out the door, or are they just lazy?

OK, I've been off work for a few weeks, but was it really necessary for everyone to pick my desk clean of useful items? Everyone has their own stapler, calculator, ruler, pens, scissors, staple remover, highlighters and paperclips - so why steal mine?! I was not impressed!

Re: Grumpy old gamers
I feel pooped quite often during the weekdays now, so I don't always game on a week night. So, it's blooming typical that I've been looking forward to playing Onslaught tonight, and now I find the Playstation Network is down.

Re: Grumpy old gamers
On my way to work this morning I look in the rear view and notice that I can just see the top of a car behind me. They were so close that I couldn't see their headlights in any of my mirrors. As that section of road is pretty hard to pass on, what did I do? Yes, I slowed down to half the speed limit and gave some serious thought to hitting the brakes. I made them sit back there for 10 minutes before they could finally get around me. For some reason there was fist shaking as they drove past me.

Re: Grumpy old gamers
Have to admit I do suffer from the occasional fits of road rage, which is strange as I'm normally a very easy going type of person not grumpy at all

Re: Grumpy old gamers
Well it's that time of year again. My little town starts to fill with tourists. Now for some reason these people seem to think that if a parking lot is full that forming a line that blocks the street they are turning off will speed up finding a parking spot. This means I get to sit in line blocking the road while trying to get home.

And just how many choice words do you use while waiting to get home

Re: Grumpy old gamers
I'm grumpy today. well, i have been all week.. although i have no real energy to be grumpy. I have pneumonia and am on 4 diff meds for 2 weeks. I take them, i do the damn breathing treatments and i still feel weak and ill and my lungs hurt. It sucks and it is making me grumpy. But when i get grumpy, i get even more tired which in turn makes me even more grumpy. I try to put a smile and positive face on for kyan cos his sweetness and smiles makes me less grumpy, but then i get tired again which doers what? Yes...say it with me...makes me grumpy! UGH! I'm borrowing Stu's tank for a bit
