bfbc2 classes

Post by pappasmurf22 on Sat Mar 20, 2010 9:28 am

ok this one for jess but anyone feel free to add anything you might think will help. this is our way of finding jess the class to best suit her.

assault: close to medium range:
with this you get the rifles and noob tubes. the tubes are a lot harder to get kills with than on mw2 but they work well for taking out wall to make another entrance. (dont use a door as they might have it covered) when its unlocked you can also resupply peoples ammo and your own. if you choose one of the guns that can be used for all classed like the shotguns you will get c4 instead of the tube.

medic: effective at all ranges:
lmg weapons for this class which again get better the higher you rank. they are very accurate even on full auto and can lay down some heavy fire. if you drop a medipack it takes a while to charge up again but when you drop a 2nd the 1st will disappear. only let down with this class is nothing to make things go boom. some of the guns you unlock like the m60 are great with a red dot.

recon: long range:
we all know the snipers are out in force on this game but the class is called recon for a reason. use this class to spot and mark target more than shoot them. you get c4 to start with but unlock mortars later which are great for clearing out enemy snipers. when using the c4 its always best to put 2 on a tank before detonating just to make sure you et the kill. you can also place them on a road and wait for a tank to roll over them then detonate and use them like a mine. this is the toughest class to master in my opinion. another good thing the recon class has is motion mines. these pick up any movement in an area where they are thrown. you can place them at your feet to watch your back or throw one near the crate when defending so you know someone moving in.

engineer: close range / meduim to long with rpg's:
my personal favorite class, the smg's are perfect for close quarters but work well in burst fire at range too. the rpg's are great for taking out tanks or any armour and later you can unlock anti tank mines that when placed in a good spot can halt an enemy advance. the repair tool is also amazing. if you working as a team you can repair a tank while you team mate is still inside, this also gives you a lot of points and it a good way of ranking up. if faced with and enemy tank up close you can also use the tool to damage their tank.

others things to look out for..... HMG emplacements are great for taking chopper out. if scanning the horizon with one keep hitting select and you might find an enemy sniper. then just blow his bloody head off.

when in a tank dont stay still for too long as you are a prime target for a mortar strike. also if you get hit with one of these start to move right away, if you hesitate it will destroy the tank before you can move.

camp it up. when defending although it can get boring pick something to defend and stick to it. can get the drop on a lot of people this way.

spawn killers. if someone in the spawn killing everyone take them out if you can but dont go hunting for them. just get up to the next plant site as while they running around killing they not defending and it will make your life easier.

spawning. tell someone you spawning on them, they will usually know if its a good idea or not. also they can then take cover while you spawn and not go for the objective and get killed forcing you both to return to base.

there is a lot more but this covers the basics. hope it helps.

last min edit... if the enemy has the target locked down dont be afriad to blow the building to bits. it will destroy the crate and probably get you some good kills in the process.

Wow Dean, thanks for the help.

I think a couple of friendly matches may help with my tactics. Maybe it's just decent practice I need?

Also, the 4 x 4 game (out in a couple of weeks I think) may be a lot better too.

Lots of good info Smurf, in addition to the least communicate, it does help. My problem is trying to give an accurate location of the enemy on some of the maps, sorry for the frustration at times Shane.

Like what has been said, lets delv. a plan of action quickly, because most of the attacks start with vehicles to get a jump on targets, and we need to set-up for them. Plus, somebody needs to learn how to fly the choppers.

when sniping remember to factor in the bullet drop at distance.

The Gol is slightly more accurate than the M95, however you lose a little punch with the Gol. The best examples are that the M95 can cut down trees and if you are good enough and have enough ammo can take down a chopper. The Gol does have the same bullet drop although at times it is not present. They tried their best to make these realistic however.....the 870 from the roof of the building to take out a guy at the front of the base? LOL

Don't forget your heli skills Dean, as far as I know you are the best pilot that we got.
My trick to the UAV is just use it like another Sniper...take it somewhere they aren't going to look for it (behind their base and counter snipe with it by killing snipers from behind). But the best use for it is additional spotting power, if someone sets at a location then stay up high there and mark enemies as they rush the building so that squad members have a chance to kill them without getting overwhelmed. Also don't be afraid to fly it inside of buildings (that have room) for additional fire power. LOL

Can I be 'best player to spawn on'? I usually pick neat spots around the action to fight from Very Happy

That would make you the best general support person. A huge role to have.

you will probably be best suited to assault or medic class then jess. hang back, support attacks and throw down either medi packs or ammo to keep us fighting fit.
