Re: The Medical Thread
chairs can be nasty pieces of work, i hope Rosie is up running.. jumping.. and doing sport soon.. ( buy her a giant bean bag )
im still suffering after being in the dentists chair..the bruising around the eye and side of the face is slowly going.. headache from hell not shifting..still got a bit of swelling by eye and i stillllll look like i am storing food in my cheeks for the winter.
so i hate chairs too....

Rosie is back to normal now (for the moment anyway )
I managed to cut my thumb on Saturday, and now I've discovered it's not helping my gaming as it's right on top of the left button

Dag gum back went out on me yesterday, while at home taking care of my young one, and not doing much better today.

After managing to avoid Rosie's cold for the past 11 days it seems it's caught up with me now
Sore throat, streaming nose and coughing like mad, bummer.

I have a nasty eye test today, they squirt an orange dye in my eyes and it hurts - not looking forward to it.

Re: The Medical Thread
That sounds bad Aiden. You might want to get that looked at. Can I add "can't be arsed" to my list of ailments?

Physics isn't that awful, sure it's complicated but atleast you can destroy the metaphysical.

Re: The Medical Thread
Hope the eye is getting better Rocker
Well after a number of weeks and different tests i have been given the all clear!
From what i hear you ask.......
Well i hadnt said anything as i didnt really want anyone to worry but i had a very abnormal ECG test result while on the exercise bike on my annual Well Mans check up last month.
The abnormal test results were a possible sign that i had either something wrong with my Heart or that one of the Arteries was blocked or narrowed.
Its been a bit of a worry for me and i had to go for a Stress Echo test including an Ultra Sound of my Heart followed by a CT Coronary Angiogram to check my Arteries.
Like i said the results have all come back as showing as no problem and thankfully they have ruled out anything dangerous although they still can not explain the continued abnormal ECG results and have labled it a Ghost Echo or False Positve result.
It does make you think tho and puts a lot of things into perspective.

I've developed this problem called lack-of-internet-itis, seems that it will be down for a week at the house, so I will be around when I can at work.

Re: The Medical Thread
It seems that I've developed a urinary tract infection since late Monday night, 3 days of liquid diet, and 2 weeks of antibiotics, and i'm hoping that it gets better real soon or else I'm gonna run out of pain pills.

Re: The Medical Thread
Not good Ryan, hope you're on the mend quickly.
On the up side though - 3 days of liquid diet means you'll lose weight (I'm presuming like the rest of mankind you'd be happy with this) and be able to poop through the eye of a needle
