Re: The Medical Thread
had appointment for pain clinic.. got lots of lovely drugs to try plus an appointment for acupuncture to look forward to soon.
then i hope to get back to a bit more gaming because i cant hold on to the controller for very long, it gets quite painful.. but i dont think it will make me a better gamer if i could hold the controller properly.
(at least i have an excuse for playing badly)..

Re: The Medical Thread
Don't know what i did or which it is, trying to get in to see the doc, but since Friday I've been dealing witha swollen painful ankle. This is the one I fractured nice and good a few years back, so I don't know if it has something to do with that or with gout. All that I know it hurts like like the dickens.

I've got an endoscopy tomorrow where they're going to look inside my stomach to see why i'm always ill. I just hope they find something other than lazy b****** syndrome, will keep you all posted

Re: The Medical Thread
I hope they do too Conor. With any luck something obvious and simple to treat will pop up for you, I'll keep my fingers crossed

Re: The Medical Thread
My mum has the same problem, one time she phoned them, said hello and the receptionist said "what's wrong with him this time?" needless to say she blamed me lolJessica wrote:LOL Daz, I'm glad it's not just my clan
Pretty soon Rosie's Sensai will have me on speed dial, and the school are already recognising my voice when I phone
Maybe we'll end up with our own parking space at the doctors/hospital

Re: The Medical Thread
Well, just got back to the land of the living, the procedure took 30 mins but the preparation took over an hour. The only part that irritated me is having to wear one of the surgery gowns and a pair of pants that look like they're made from white fish netting!

Trousers with your gown - that's amazing, and I bet you didn't have the standard 6 inch gap at the back too

Re: The Medical Thread
I had to laugh when the nurse asked if he had brought his dressing gown & slippers with him!
Clearly she doesn't have a teenage boy or she wouldn't have asked lol

I've just had my first yearly (from now on) blood test, and the results were 'normal' so I'm happy

Re: The Medical Thread
We had our yearly medical at work last week. This time I was told my eyesight was great, my hearing was perfect, my cholesterol was low, my bmi wasn't bad, my blood pressure was good, and all in all I'm in pretty good shape now
So far so good, now for better stats next year I hope

Re: The Medical Thread
Good luck Motley, I really hope it works for you.
After I broke my back I didn't think I'd ever stand upright or be out of pain again, now I can do forward rolls and walk tall .
Acupuncture is a wonderful thing

Re: The Medical Thread
Rosie has managed to pull the muscles in her hip/thigh
She did it - running around - no, jumping about - no, doing sport - no ... just sitting on a chair
I think her Easter present will be a big roll of bubblewrap

chairs can be nasty pieces of work, i hope Rosie is up running.. jumping.. and doing sport soon.. ( buy her a giant bean bag )
im still suffering after being in the dentists chair..the bruising around the eye and side of the face is slowly going.. headache from hell not shifting..still got a bit of swelling by eye and i stillllll look like i am storing food in my cheeks for the winter.
so i hate chairs too....

Re: The Medical Thread
Rosie is back to normal now (for the moment anyway )
I managed to cut my thumb on Saturday, and now I've discovered it's not helping my gaming as it's right on top of the left button
