friday fun night

ok for a change of pace before we all begin the xp whoring we all know and love i thought a quick free for all game of throwing knives only. whos in?

the time: friday 4th december. roughly 11pm uk time.
the place: terminal
the rules: rules are there are no rules..... except its throwing knives only. not even stabbing is allowed. all kills must be from a thrown knife and no riot shields.

jess you can pick the knife back up so in theory we shouldnt run out. if your aim thats off.... tough! lol

havent used throwing knives yet so this should be fun

just remembered i didnt mention perks. any perk is fine. obviously no kill streaks are to be used. and no marty as death streak. dont know if painkiller affects a thrown knife or not so make sure death streaks are set to copycat.

if you no good with a throwing knife jess you can always use my banana

We actually practiced some of this last night to see if you can use the throwing knife while using a shield. It is much like throwing a grenade you have to aim high to throw further and you need to go recover your knife. You can pick up someone else's knife if it lands near you. It looks very cool to see the knife stuck in a shield or the wall, or the top of your head.

I think I'll try to set up to tape this one since we will be in a private room. I'd like to try to get some of our normal game play sometime but I can't see a damn thing when I try playing because of the resolution.

question, if we're playing a free for all how many people can the room/match hold?
if its 12 then we dont have to go private as long as we have enough people. if so we can get XP and still rank up.

Okay after 6 of us ran a little practice session I think we all agreed that BOTH throwing and stabbing knives should be allowed for this one, only because if you throw and miss you end up running around looking for another one and look damn silly. It is still a laugh as long as Jess leaves her shield and martyrdom at the door.

It was fun using martyrdom in the first game though, ask everybody else who was there. When you blew up after stabbing me the first time your 'outburst' made us all chuckle, when you did it the second time (a few seconds later) all I heard on the mic was rapturous laughter

the whole point of throwing knives only is so you have to be careful when to aim. had a match of this and its funny with 2 people not being able to kill each other until they find a knife. remember you can pick anyones up not just your own.

but if you lot are too chicken!!!

Okay since it is Christmas time, and we all need to get something for ourselves, I think I've got the equipment to record and play in HD on the way now. We'll find out sometime next week if it works.
