AAAHHH!!! Round 15 - AGAIN - TWICE!!!

First we started with Shane, Brock, Stu and me. Then, after round 5 Stu vanished. We quit the game to go and get him and try again, but he went offline Sad

Next, Nathan (a little friend of Shane's joined us), we were doing ok (apart from him not totally grasping the idea of keeping a crawler at the end of the round lol), but he had to go at round 15, his mum said it was teatime Rolling Eyes

Then Denerio joined us for the last of our 3 efforts. We were doing ok, but Denerio vanished too, he sent me a pm saying they were having bad storms. He left... at round 15 Exclamation

So, good fun, but really frustrating we couldn't get past round blooming 15!

I'm up for trying tonight, round 16 here I come. Who's with me?

was i the only one to get booted? i just got my mg42 aswell. it took me bout 5 mins to restart game but didnt see any invites so presumed you carried on. it was getting too near 12 for me which was my cut off time. i mean i had been waiting since 11. lol. early start today

Well, Tuesday night was much better. We managed to get to round 16! AND we all stayed together too Shocked

I don't think Shane was happy with his weapons, not sure what made me think that though Laughing

By the way guys, when you're upstairs with a ray gun it makes no difference if you stand at the back of the room or a bit nearer. As long as you aim at the door they die. If you're at the back of the room you get to keep buying grenades to lob out too, so that's a bonus Very Happy

But the person with the shite weapon is better at the back cos they can focus 100% on nades

It's a fine balance really. If someone has a really crap weapon then they should be at the back and just keep throwing nades. If everyone has pretty decent weapons then the person that has the least amount of ammo should start at the back to try and conserve some by throwing nades in the hope a Max ammo will drop. Then if someone else's burns their ammo up completely then a quick swap is in order.

I'm starting to be able to sit up now for a bit longer now, tho too long still gets very painful. If I time things right tho hopefully I can start joining you guys for some games in the evenings again.

It has to be remembered though - the person throwing the grenades has to point out crawlers!

Well I have been doing some gaming during the day this week whilst laying in bed but I havnt been able to concentrate for too long at a time some I pause it a lot to have a break and then pop back on for a short spell again.
Hopefully I will be able to sit up properly soon and then will be able to concentrate a bit more for longer so I can join up online again.

After our first trial round (we only made it to 8, oops) we didn't do too badly, round 16 again lol.

Zem, please don't stand quite so close to the door, it makes it hard to throw grenades, and I didn't have a chance to revive you with the window behind you wide open too Sad

Good fun though, even if we didn't have great weapons this time Very Happy

Theres a window next to me and i was in the door with the ray gun so you could revive shane and rocks.

Well, we managed to get 3 of us together for a game last night. Unfortunately we only made it to round 11. I blame the box, not a ray gun in sight - plenty of crappy wooden things though Rolling Eyes

I'm hoping for better luck from the box tonight, and fingers crossed there'll be 4 of us too.

Well, the three left made it to round 12, but as the game was set for 4 we didn't stand much of a chance really, too many zombies.

I had a ray gun, but my 2nd weapon was a thompson with no ammo, so I guess my fate was sealed Rolling Eyes

Hope we can get together for a proper game on Sunday night.

The kid was out at the Eminem concert and needed picked up, only there was no phone signal so we both had to go out looking for him. Not easy trying to find 1 person in 40000 but i managed it Very Happy
